Wipocalypse February 2017

Here we meet again, it is time for my Wipocalypse Report for this balmy month of February. Yes, I say balmy because we have had no record-able snowfall this month and usually at least one week in February looks like this.
Instead this is what I see. Sunshine and blue sky, by no means am I complaining but I am so ready for SUMMER!
Okay, I know you all didn't come for a weather report so I'll get on with the stitchy-stuff.   This  month our Wipocalypse question is "What is your favorite stitch other than standard cross stitch?" Well I have two and they are Algerian Eye and Smyrna Stitch and for the bonus points here are some how-to diagrams

Now I will show you what I have worked on this month first I started on the March design for the Snowflower Diaries "Joyful World SAL" from 2016.  I was trying to get ahead of the designs this year, maybe I can get them finished.

Next I worked on the Cloudsfactory "Game of Thrones Houses & Banners", eventually it will be given to my daughter. I have only to finish the last section and then it's ready to be framed.
Last but not least, the project that has consumed me is the Linen & Threads "Mystery Sampler".
I started my version of this design after the actual SAL start date and have been trying to get caught up, I'm not sure if I'll make it before the March band comes out, I am still working on January. February's bands are shorter so once I get them started they should go quickly. Well that is the end of my report, going to make some wonderful little xxs. Thanks for stopping by!

It's been way too warm for February here too, we are ready for Spring! I've seen a few WIPs of that mystery Sampler, love the start you've made so far. The colors you've chosen are definitely bright and Spring-like.

We've had a cold wet 'winter' here in CA, so I guess it's not been normal for anyone.

I love your projects, the mystery band sampler looks great, I love the colors.

Really nice blog! You are working on some great projects! I want to start the Linens and Threads SAL so badly, however I haven't finished February SAL pieces. Have a great month. xx

Great progress this month - love it all! :) We're the opposite weatherwise though, we've had a hideous summer full of temperatures over 40C regularly - I'm champing at the bit for autumn and winter to arrive!

We had some nice warm days, but are back to our usual cold stuff here.
That Linen & Threads Mystery Sampler is gorgeous!

What a strange winter it has been this year! All I can say is...roll on summer. Love the Game of Thrones design, I might have to track down this design!

I enjoy those stitches as well. All your stitching is quite lovely. The weather here to is odd. Up to 81 one day. Most strange.

Nice selection of WIPs! I'm also stitching the Snowflower Diaries Joyful World series. It's been very warm here in the Atlanta area too, but I did like having the windows open for a couple of days.

I love the projects you worked on this past month! Our weather in VA has been ridiculously warm this month - it's hard to stay put and stitch!

Your colors for Linen and Threads are so beautiful. I noticed them in your video and they are just beautiful. I have purchased and downloaded ready to start the Game of Thrones Banners for my Daughter In Law for Christmas 2017. I think if I do one house a month I will finish right on time. Yours is beautiful.

It's been very strange weather here in Indiana too. We even have flowers and trees blooming already. Love your stitching. The colors you picked on the mystery sampler are beautiful.

I like a Smyrna Stitch too, Just Nan uses them for all her spider bodies!
The Linen & Threads SAL is gorgeous but a lot of work.
The GoT banners are wonderful too.
