April 2014 TUSAL

Mr. Jenkins will not be presenting my TUSAL this month due to him being on vacation, he will be available for the next one.  So please try to enjoy the picture with just a trusty pair of scissors used to cut all those little thread ends.

April IHSW

I hope everybody had a Happy and very blessed Easter, I sure did.  I didn't stitch much this IHSW, if you don't know what this is visit Joysze or scroll down and click on Hermie the crab at the right.
On Friday I finished up the stitching on "Turtles All the Way Down" from Ink Circles. I stitched it on 28ct Lugana color Summer Khaki. Now to make it into a bell pull.

I also started stitching the outline for the 20th part of AW80S and decided that since there were only a few parts left I would stitch all of the remaining outlines too.

So this is what I have and it's now time to work on the specialty stitches.
Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Easter!

Only Love could leave heaven for a stable.
Only Humility could use a donkey as a throne.
Only Hope could trade a crown of gold for one of thorns.

Only Jesus could give up everything He deserved, to give us something we could never earn… Life Without End.

April Wipocalypse time again...

When there is a full moon fun things happen... we get to share all of our stitching progress over the last month on our WIP (Works In Progress).  This year Measi gave us topics to share for our Wipocalypse report. This month it's: "How do you keep your stash organized?"  Well I have a plastic tote, container or bag for everything and just to prove it here are a few pictures.
Aida fabric
linens and evenweaves
floss
beads

charts that are kitted and ready to go
Okay that's enough of that, I think you get the picture.
Now I will share the stitching I've done this past month.  I've had a ball, you'll see.
First up, I worked a little on "Dare to be Daniel"
then I finished the"Dream Catcher"
then I'm sure you remember I started the "Sea Goddess"
next I completed part 19 of AW80S

I got the itch and started "You Hungry". They were so much fun they are finished too. I just love these ladies, they remind me of me.

I can't forget about April's cake and Calendar Girl.

Finally I pulled out "Turtles All the Way Down" last night and there you have it.
I bet you never expected this when you decided to drop by, but like I said, I have had a ball stitching.  When you love what you're doing, everyday is fun.  You are probably tired of my post right about now, so I'll end here and go make some more wonderful little xxs. Thanks for stopping by.
