April 2013 IHSW

I have been taking full advantage of the spring-like weather we have had.  There's the walking in the evenings and stitching on the balcony or with the windows open enjoying the warm breezes.  I was able to not only finish the second part of the Little House Needleworks Hometown Holiday series, but I completely stitched another LHN “To Thine own self be true”.

With all of the big pieces I am working on it is so refreshing to be able to actually start and finish a piece in a couple of days.
For this IHSW I picked up this LHN chart “Home of a Needleworker” and started it.  I decided to stitch it on 18 ct antique white Aida with the recommended Crescent colors. Unlike the other LHN charts this will not be finished in two or three days.

I also worked on the 11th part of AW80S by Papillon Creations.

Well I will go back to stitching, while listening to “Hurricane Punch” Tim Dorsey.  It’s the best way to stitch with a good audio book. If you haven’t tried it you don’t know what you’re missing.  Thank you all for stopping by and happy xxs.

Breathtaking work, as usual : ) I envy you being able to sit & stitch on your balcony. I can't see my hand in front of my face without my daylight magnifying lamp which I cannot take outside because I have no place where I can attach it. The recliner will have to do for me : )

Your LHN finish and the WIPs are all wonderful. LHN pieces are always so cheery! Your huge WIP by Papillon is gorgeous - I've never seen that before.
