Late to the party again...

As usual I am late with my post but at least I'm here. Yesterday was Gifted Gorgeousness hosted by Jo at Serendipitous Stitching. This is where you stitch on something (chart, fabric, floss, etc) either gifted to you or you are gifting it to someone else. If you need more info than that click on the beautiful button on my right sidebar. I have been working on a project that I just realized fits into this SAL, it is "Namasta" from Ink Circles. It is to be gifted to my daughter as part of a yoga mat bag that I also handmade. Here is the final product.
And here comes Bud to do his quality control check.
Yesterday was also the beginning of IHSW (International Hermit and Stitch Weekend) there's a button for this too. I will be participating as always. There is one more SAL I am participating that begins today and it's called a SWAT (Stitch-Week-A-Thon) it's from a group of very old friends on Facebook so I don't have a button but believe me I'm stitching with my friends.
Just an small update on my to-do list for the month of May- 5 of the 7 items are finished and checked off. I'll save those pictures for next time. Got to go make those little xxs.

That is such a clever finish. Your daughter is sure to have the nicest yoga bag in in her class. Beautiful job stitching and finishing.

Minnie I love the bag you did a great job. I am trying to get back with my cross stitch if this quilting bug will let up. Have a great summer.

Thanks for taking part in GG this month. I love that yoga bag, the design is perfect. I didn't realise it was quite so large!

What a lovely gift. If your daughter is ever having a 'down' day, just looking at that bright and cheery stitching will get her smiling again!
